TANZIE (TANZania Internationalisation Strategies for Higher Education) is a three-year project funded by the European Union under Erasmus+. It aims to build the internationalisation capacity of Tanzanian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to enhance teaching quality, research output, and global collaboration.
Coordinated by the University of Alicante (Spain), with support from Saarland University (Germany) and championed by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), TANZIE brings together a strong network of local and international partners.
MU is proud to be part of this collaborative effort alongside CUHAS, NM-AIST, and MUM advancing our shared commitment to globally connected, locally grounded education.
Objective 1
Enhance the institutional capacities of Tanzanian HEIs to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate internationalisation initiatives including the development of internationalisation strategies and offices.
Objective 2
