Prof. William John Mwegoha, Ph.D., serves as the distinguished fourth Vice Chancellor of Mzumbe University, situated in the Morogoro region, Tanzania. Mzumbe University stands as a premier institution specializing in Management and Allied Sciences, fostering the development of renowned scholars, government dignitaries, and corporate executives within and beyond the nation's borders. A luminary in academia and environmental expertise, Prof. Mwegoha boasts a rich educational background in engineering and environmental science, culminating in his Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Science from Florida A&M University in the USA. His influential contributions to the field encompass pollution bioremediation, environmental and analytical chemistry, ecological modelling, water and wastewater treatment technologies, waste resource recovery, and environmental management. Prof. Mwegoha has a robust history of academic leadership positions, including his current role as the Vice Chancellor at Mzumbe University in Morogoro, Tanzania. Before that he has been in various administrative roles at the University of Dodoma and Ardhi University both in Tanzania.
