Biography

Dr. Cliford J. Ringo is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Service and Human Resource Management at Mzumbe University. He holds a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Botswana, a Master in Public Administration – Human Resource Management (MPA-HRM) from Mzumbe University, and an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration from the Institute of Development Management (IDM) Mzumbe. With over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy, Dr. Ringo specializes in general management, public administration, public policy, governance, and research methodology. He has supervised over 40 postgraduate dissertations and more than 100 undergraduate research projects. His research interests focus on governance at national, sub-national, and corporate levels, leadership, public policy, citizenship, and administrative innovations. Dr. Ringo has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed local and international journals. He has served in various roles, including as coordinator of the Centre for Policy and Leadership (CEPOLE) and Head of the Department of Support Services in the Directorate of Quality Assurance. He is currently the coordinator of the Department of Public Service and Human Resource Management.
