Bernadetha Iteba is an Advocate of the High Court of the United Republic of Tanzania and an Assistant Lecturer under the Public Law Department, Faculty of Law, Mzumbe University. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB (Hons)-Mzumbe University), Master of Laws degree (LLM-UDSM), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Her areas of interest are criminal justice and legal aid in which she conducts a wide range of research and outreach activities. Apart from academia, Ms. Iteba has a passion to help indigents through conducting legal aid activities. She is the Coordinator of Mzumbe University Legal Aid Clinic and also a local Promoter of a project titled, “Enhancing the Use of Legal Aid Services through Tailored Multimedia Micro-contents”, a project which Mzumbe University collaborates with University of Ghent from Belgium.
