All undergraduate students are required to participate in field studies at least once in different Tanzanian organizations as a means of integrating theory and practice. Currently, during the first semester of their third year of study, all students from the School of Public Administration and Management, School of Business, Faculty of Law, Institute of Development Studies, and some from the Faculty of Science and Technology and Faculty of Social Sciences participate in field studies. Other students from the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Social Sciences participate in field studies at the end of the semester in their first and second years of study.
