Mzumbe University main campus Morogoro is located in suburbs of Mzumbe,It is also close to the suburbs of Changarawe, Vikenge and Kipera .The campus has many entrances for both cars and pedestrians, thus it open campus is at risk from criminal activities. University Security Unit can be contacted for assistance. On-campus security services are available 24 hrs for your convenience and safety. Its offices are located within campus near Lumumba Complex Hotel. University Security Unit offers safety escort services to students as they manoeuvre around campus if they feel unsafe, If you have any official events just visit their office for security arrangement. University Security Unit has many pronged approach to campus security and safety including Uniformed Security staff patrol the campus on foot and their presence acts as a positive deterrent against criminals.

Experience winter like no other with cold spats in the morning( especially from May to September) and warm and pleasant afternoons (but there is no snow) so be sure to have sunscreen, hats, sunshades and a bottle of water when going out in summer.
