Mzumbe University main campus Morogoro is located in suburbs of Mzumbe, It is also close to the suburbs of Changarawe, Vikenge and Kipera. The University Security Unit offers On-campus security services 24/7 hrs for your convenience and safety. Its offices are located within campus near Lumumba Complex Hotel. If you have any official events just visit their office for security arrangement. University Security Unit has many pronged approach to campus security and safety including Uniformed Security staff patrol the campus on foot and their presence acts as a positive deterrent against criminals.
Morogoro is a safe town with well policed streets and low crime. It is however advisable to avoid walking alone especially during nignt.
Experience winter in the morning( especially from June to September) and warm and pleasant afternoons (but there is no snow) so be sure to have sunscreen, hats, sunshades and a bottle of water when going out in summer.
Students have a choice of taking meals at any of the two cafeterias on campus or a variety of food outlets on and off campus.

Use our Helpdesk Portal to Request for Assitance from any department of University, For ICT Support you can also Visit the ICTU office at your campus to get assistance with configuring your ICT equipment so that it connects safely to the UCT network. ICTU Staff will assist staff, and students in managing password changes and obtaining the latest software updates. They also provide basic Windows support and hardware troubleshooting.
In addition to handling support requests, ICTU is also responsible for regular operational and maintenance work for all the systems and services on the MU network.
