Tuition Fees & Other Payments
All University PAYMENTS are made through PAYMENT CONTROL NUMBERS; therefore students should generate their respective CONTROL NUMBER through their MUARMS accounts when arranging for payments.
PAYMENT CONTROL NUMBERS will be generated for the folloowing payments:
- Tuition fees + Direct costs
- Accommodation (for those students who will obtain University accommodation facilities, consult the Bursar’s office)
- Health Insurence( For Students who dont have NHIF Cards).
NOTE:
- CONTROL NUMBERS are in respect of a specific payment and SHOULD NOT be reused into different payments.
- CONTROL NUMBERS are valid within ONE ACADEMIC YEAR.
- Verify your CONTROL NUMBERS before making payments.
PROCEDURES FOR PAYMENTS:
- Students should obtain CONTROL NUMBER for a SPECIFIC PAYMENT through his/her MU-ARMS account.
- Payments should ONLY be made through banks or Authorised Banks argents or throgh Mobile Operators.
NOTE: STUDENTS ARE REMINDED TO VERIFY THEIR NAMES AS WELL AS THEIR REGISTRATION NUMBER BEFORE CONFIRMING PAYMENT TRANSCTION AND KEEP THE BANK PAY-IN SLIP OR TRANSACTION SMS FOR PROPER RECORD KEEPING PURPOSE.

HESLB sponsored Students
If you are a sponsored student by HESLB, meet the loan officer at your company to get explanations concerning your Loan payment.
Tution Fee Payment options
Tuition fee is pain either at once or in instalment depends on your income ability.
You must pay at least 25% of your annual fee for semester registration
and at the end of each semester.
International Students and Applicants
Fees are paid using general Control number, you can pay fee using mobile operators such as VODACOM (MPESA), AIRTEL MONEY, HALOPESA and TIGOPESA.
For Banks you can pay to CRDB and NMB. If these banks and mobile operators are not found in your country, please consult office Finance to
assist you how to make payment via df@mu.ac.tz
